Gender and racial discrimination, exploitation and so forth are only effects. The real problem is that it is possible to suppress the people with false Science or false descriptions of the world; that supports Might Is Right. Or like this. We are not genuine citizens.

And now begins the real Brexit - to grasp what the hierarchic rule is all about

Daniel Hannan apparently present his new book by this fascinating article The Norman Conquest was a disaster for England. We should celebrate Naseby, not Hastings, The Telegraph, 14 October 2016.

The Battle of Naseby (1645)

The Battle of Hastings (1066)

The Norman conquest of England

Hannan says.
The Norman Conquest was a cataclysm for the English people. After 1066, ... Castles, until then a rarity, sprang up everywhere. ... these were not defences against a foreign foe, but instruments of internal repression, ... More telling, though, is the political vocabulary introduced under the Normans. Out go witan, folkmoot and folkright. In come fealty and homage, fief and vassal, villein and serf. The progress toward personal liberty, free contract and equal access to the common law was suspended. ...

witan "to know"

folkmoot "a general assembly of the people"

fief, feudal duties

Feudalism

So, when politicians are able to openly criticise at least the outer layer of the established stupidities of to just obey; it gets closer to openly talk about the real core of the terror.

One more example of the present confusion and that there is a beginning insight of that there is a confusion

Lies, fearmongering and fables: that’s our democracy , People power can challenge the status quo, but only if we understand our political system has inherent flaws ”, George Monbiot, The Guardian, 4 October 2016.

My Comment

The REAL problem is that George Monbiot and others granted a monopoly of to write in the massmedia simply refuse to say anything about WHY the political system, or to be more correct the Western worldview, is flawed in order to maintain the present order.

In short.

Useless production of complaints is made to appear as valuable critique in a culture that is based on that there cannot be any change.

The current culture of the West is based on that you can only be an obedient soldier as anything else is made mystical

With English subtitles.

Triumph of the Will (1935) by Leni Riefenstahl (1902–2003) is one of the major achievements of the current culture of the West.

Despite the poor quality of the public copies I assume that any, absolutely any viewer, can only fall directly into the emotions that Riefenstahl wanted to incite.

This also means, the more you fight back the emotions to be a part of the Nazi movement; the more you make it impossible to understand in concrete terms WHY this true masterpiece of propaganda is so powerful.

In short the film unlocks and expose in full vigour the training of the citizens that they can only obey or be like soldiers as anything else is made mystical.

Consequently the total harmony, the total power, the only possible aspiration in life is to be united with your fellow soldiers.

To be a soldier among other soldiers is the only possible ideal of the current culture of the West. Even if it at the moment is not correct to worship open totalitarianism.

And of course to be restricted to obey is just to full fill your duties.

Brunhilde Pomsel says 'We knew nothing': Joseph Goebbels' former secretary says it was 'just another job', David Lawler, The Telegraph, 17 August 2016.

The defence of to accept to be a soldier that can only obey is also a major theme of Hannah Arendt (1906–1975) that call the acceptance "the banality of evil".

It is of course easy to brush off Triumph of the Will as an old and uninteresting example. But the daily training of you to be an obedient soldier goes on everywhere all the time.

Here are two examples, from a major news media, of the daily training of you to be an obedient soldier presented as advice on how to be successful.

Why you don’t want a nice boss, Sydney Finkelstein, BBC, 25 August 2016.
Just because a boss is nice, doesn’t mean he or she is any good. A tough, demanding manager will push you to do your best work.
In Depth Psychology: Why we should celebrate shyness, David Robson, BBC, 31 August 2016.
From Agatha Christie and Charles Darwin to Keira Knightley, Francoise Hardy and Morrissey, the socially awkward and anxious have changed the world for the better. Have we forgotten the benefits of being shy?
Sure, to be successful demands to be shy! The arguments to be stupid and obedient are bound to be hilarious. And remember this crap is presented as to be Science.

So, when the people are trained daily to follow totalitarian ideals it is not so strange that many dream of the total harmony of a totalitarian State.
